Whale bench
A whale’s eyes are surprisingly small for one of the largest animals in the world: its body length can reach up to 20 meters, while each eye is only about the size of an orange. A whale has a unihemispheric brain, meaning it never sleeps in the way humans do — while one hemisphere rests and one eye is closed, the other remains awake, and the “camera-eye” monitors changes in the surrounding environment.
The eye of “Whale” by WOODZENART is always “open,” scanning the home space and maintaining balance and harmony.
An important detail of the object, creating not only a visual but also a semantic accent, is the small spherical element at the base of the bench. It resembles an eye and is made of petrified wood.
“Whale” stylistically continues the table “Particle,” presented in the collection “Both Particle and Wave.” Compared to the minimalist “Particle,” “Whale” is a more complex object with bionic forms reminiscent of a whale’s head.
