Wood&See light fixture
The central piece of the collection — the light art object “Wood&See” — evokes wooden piles supporting a pier, overgrown with shells and seaweed.
Light enters into a direct dialogue with the original material — wood. The structure of the “mussel shells,” sanded down to the contour of the wood grain, resembles delicate lace that allows light to pass through, creating an effect of a warm and mysterious atmosphere. This method of light penetration has become a signature characteristic of WOODZENART.
Piles covered with shells and algae are not a one-hundred-percent “product” of the sea, but rather a collaboration between sea and land.
