Coffee table Twins

From certain angles the Twins table looks majestic and significant, but take a closer look and you may get a fleeting feeling of instability. After all, two large, albeit wooden "stones" are balancing on top of a much smaller stone. How do they even stay there and how much longer can they remain in this position? These are the same questions we ask ourselves from time to time.

We want to bring back the tradition of using furniture objects for decades and passing them down to futher generations. Things that fill people with the energy of nature. That is what inspired us to create this coffee table. Sea pebbles, gently shaped by the warm waves of the sea were the main inspiration to all the pieces in the Stone Story collection.

Coffee table Stones

In our interpretation the philosophy of wabi-sabi is complemented by personal experience and vision. The basic function of our tables is quite utilitarian, but the idea is a little more subtle and intimate. We believe that these objects help their owners to find a deeper connection with their home and to see what they lack most at the moment in simple things.

Coffee table Stones Metallic

The idea for this table was suggested to us by designer Victoria Kiorsak to fit as seamlessly as possible into her stand at the annual Mosbuild exhibition.

We took the shape of our existing Stones table in burnt oak wood as a basis and invited a specialist in liquid metal work. His task was difficult. On the one hand, we needed a "random" paint pattern, and on the other hand, it had to be processed in such a way that the wood grain would appear evenly everywhere.

The work was carried out perfectly! The image of a stone sculpture made of precious wood and covered with metal is exactly as we imagined it to be - subtle, deep and enigmatic. The Stones tables in the color of burnt oak wood and covered in liquid metal make a very harmonious composition.

Coffee table Balance

The work of masters in rock balancing at the first second is mesmerizing. How can you build such a structure of various stones without the use of supports, glue or anything else but human hands and a huge patience?

Well, it is indeed possible. The Balance table is all about it - about possibilities. About the fact that stone can be warm, and wood can take any shape and become something completely different without losing its essence.
